THE 53rd annual SFWA awards dinner takes place at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, Cambridge Street, Glasgow on Sunday, May 21 at 7pm. 

Guest speakers in the company of incoming President Stephen Halliday are John Gahagan and Barry Hearn and, as usual, the dress code for the evening is lounge suit

While we’re hopeful that members will take a table or a share in one, we’ve set aside a couple of tables for members who just want to come along themselves or bring a guest.

For those travelling from further afield, the hotel is offering special rates of £85 per room (single) or £95 (double or twin) – both including breakfast. To book call 0141-332-3311. Car parking will be free to all on the evening.

For those on a tighter budget, it’s worth noting that there are plenty of alternative hotels in the area.
