SCOTLAND’S Player of the Year is a fight between four Rangers players - the first time the short list features stars from the same club.
The winner of the award will be one from Connor Goldson, James Tavernier, Steven Davis and Allan McGregor.
They are the leading stars voted for by members of the Scottish Football Writers’ Association after playing key roles in Rangers’ first title triumph since 2011.
Ever-present Goldson, 28, has been a rock at the heart of a Rangers defence which has conceded just four league goals at home this term.
Skipper Tavernier, 29, has netted an incredible 18 goals and bagged numerous assists from right-back.
Northern Irish midfielder Davis, 36, has been a consistent performer for club and country all season.
Goalie McGregor, 39, has pulled of a string of crucial stops when he’s been called upon during the campaign.
The winner will be announced in newspapers before the end of the season.
