Rodgers Lifts Boss Prize
We are pleased to announce that Brendan Rodgers is the William Hill SFWA Manager of the Year.
The Celtic boss has already led the club to another Scottish Premiership title and League Cup triumph this season.
The Northern Irishman is the most successful living Hoops gaffer and will become the first in Celtic's history to complete three Trebles if he wins the Scottish Cup at Hampden on May 24.
While dominating domestically, Rodgers has also progressed the club in Europe.
This season Celtic qualified for the knock-out phase of the Champions League after terrific victories over RB Leipzig, Young Boys and Slovan Bratislava - before an agonising, last-gasp defeat to German giants Bayern Munich.
Rodgers beat off competition from fellow nominees David Gray, John McGlynn, and Jimmy Thelin to clinch the prize.
He said: “My thanks on behalf of everyone. When you receive any award I always think it belongs to everyone at the club but of course as the manager you are the recipient of it.
“I am always hugely honoured to receive any awards. On an individual level it is a nice honour and I am very grateful for that.”
